So I went to the movies last night and saw "Life As We Know It," starring Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel. The premise of the movie is of two single people who are best friends with a married couple, and are chosen to be the god parents of the couple's baby. The parents of the baby die suddenly in a car accident and the god parents are left to raise the child. Things become very hectic and chaotic very quickly, and the story line continues from there. This got me to thinking (of course and as usual); I’m sure most people don’t wake up in the morning with the thought that they might not be walking back through their door later that evening. I know I certainly don’t! I leave my house a mess, bed unmade, pj’s on my bathroom floor along with my bath towel... kid’s things scattered throughout the house, etc. The question is what is left undone? If you should die in an accident this very day, what major thing is left undone? Ask yourself this: Is your spouse taken care of financially. . . will your mortgage be paid off ...will your kids be able to afford college? Take a moment and think about this seriously. Do you have a life insurance policy, and if you do, will it adequately support your family after you pass away? If you are not sure if you have sufficient coverage, or if you don’t have a life insurance policy, call us, we can help....that’s what we are here for! We offer term, universal and whole life policies and can find the right coverage for you. Also, most importantly, don’t forget to say I LOVE YOU to those you care most about...you know, just in case!
